With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Pelkey of Presque Isle, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Pelkey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Pelkey and Sarah Pelkey (Murphy); his brothers, Roger, Gary and Philip Pelkey; and his brothers-in-law, Albert Haines and Bob Haines.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle C. Pelkey (Smith) of Presque Isle; his stepchildren, Brian Fuller (Patti) of Millinocket, Tracy Fuller (Elizabeth) of Presque Isle, Jeffrey Fuller of Leawood, KS and Yvonne West (Arlo) of Lewiston; and his siblings, Kenneth Pelkey of Presque Isle, David Pelkey (Lisa) of Presque Isle, Lois Haines of Presque Isle, Sandra Haines of Mapleton and Doris DeCoste of New York State. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
