He was predeceased by: his significant other Nana; his grandmother Noella Gladys Johnston; his stepbrother Garret Brown; and his uncle Eric Johnston. He is survived by: his mother Heidi A. Nicholson; his father-in-law Stan Nicholson of Washburn; his father Hank W. Johnston (Traci Brown) of South Paris; his nephew Owen of Washburn; his niece Kaylee Rackliffe of Washburn; and his grandfathers, Carl Johnston of Easton and Wayne Estey (Judy) of Oxbow. He is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Washburn Trailrunners Snowmobile Club (48 Station Rd, Washburn, ME 04742).
In lieu of flowers, Justin's family kindly asks that donations be made in his memory to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, Maine 04769, whose compassionate care and support brought comfort to Justin and his family during his final hours.
