He was predeceased by: his parents, Idris Lawrence and Myrtle Lawrence (Brown); his wife Constance "Connie" Beattie; his children, Iris Brown and Idris Lawrence; and his brothers, Roland and Orval Lawrence.
He is survived by: his children, Violet Wilcox (Sheldon) of Ashland, Sandra Wells (Kenneth) of Presque Isle, Leslie Ireland (Keith) of Tennessee and Becky Lawrence of Presque Isle; and his sisters, Opal Lee of Presque Isle and Lorina Grass of Millinocket. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
