He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Sargent and Gertrude Sargent; his wife Janice; and his sister Patricia Finnemore. He is survived by : his son Johnson (Tracy) of Madison; his grandson Coburn (Rachelle) of Madison, Maine; and his sister Jane Anne (Bud McEwan) of Presque Isle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aroostook House of Comfort, 18 Green Hill Drive, Presque Isle, ME. 04769.
