She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Cronkite and Effie Cronkite (Johnson); her former husband Darrol Kelley; her children, Darrol Jr. and Linda Armstrong; her husband Merritt Leavitt; and her siblings, Cecil, Maurice, Lenwood, Loomis, Lawrence, Joe, Carvell Cronkite, Mildred Clark, Madeline Gagnon, Beryl Parker and Lois Fowler.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Brett Armstrong of Bangor; her stepsons, Rick (Sue), Kevin (Jen) and Frank Leavitt (Denise); her grandchildren, Rae Ann Armstrong, Chad (Mary Ellen), Adam (Amy), Nason (Jennifer), Ryan (Cindy) and Jarvis Kelley (Amy); and her close friends, Betty Ryder and Linda Kennedy Smith.
