She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carney and Lorraine Carney (Milliard); and her nephew Troy Levasseur. She is survived by: her husband Stephen; her siblings, Mark, Anne Carney of East Newport and Jane Land Charles Clemens of Bradley, Maine; her children, Stephen F. Burtt Jr. and Lisa; and her nieces, Kate and Abby. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rachel's memory may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mars Hill, Maine.
