She was predeceased by : her parents, Elaine Lowell, and George Lowell, Jr.; her husband Donald L. Smith; her daughters, Kathy Robinson and Janet Smith; her brother Bradley (Becky Lowell); and her in-laws, Elizabeth Palmer Smith, Lee Smith, Sr., Irving, Margaret Smith, Doris, Listen Grant, Ralph, Lorraine Smith, Richard Grace, Eben Smith, Lee, Jr., Pearl Smith, Leah Smith, Julian and Imogene Leighton.

She is survived by : her daughters, Gail Smith and Lynn Whalen (Bruce Rich); her grandchildren, Eva Smith and Dakota Robinson; her son-in-law Wayne Robinson; her brother Herbert (Rita Lowell); her in-laws, Alice Grace, Horace, Gerry Smith and Judy Smith; and her nephew Austin Lowell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home (47 Main St, Milbridge, ME 04658). A reception was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Knights of Phythias Schoodic Lodge 129 Hall (874 US-1, Gouldsboro, ME 04607).
