He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Edward and Julia Constance House; and his wife Shirley Mae Kilpatrick. He is survived by: his sons, Michael and Russell (Johanne); his grandsons, Victor, Vincent and Charles; and his sisters, Nancy, Janice, Susan and Rita. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Walter's memory be considered to the Rangeley Guides' and Sportsmen's Association, Youth Activities Fund, PO Box 244, Rangeley, ME 04970.
