It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Wentworth of Readfield, Maine, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rea and Vivian Rea (Duguay); and her sister Elaine Odin (Robert). She is survived by: her husband Jerrold Wentworth; her daughters, Cory Demoree (Brian) of Portland, Maine, Erin Williams (Gabe) of Chicago, Illinois and Megan Williams (Dan) of Elgin, Texas; her siblings, James Rea (Patricia) of Titusville, Florida and Marian "Bambi" Grard (Dave) of Lewiston, Maine; and her granddaughters, Amelia and Evelyn Demoree. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
