We bid farewell to Madeline Tozier of Richmond, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Madeline touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rittall and Gladys Rittall; her husband Ivan Tozier; her daughter Bette Chapman; her siblings, Barbara Millett and Charles Rittall; and her sister-in-law Mildred Rittall.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Shields (Debbie) of Vassalboro, Weldon Shields (Julie) of Richmond, Deb Bodge (Robert) of Richmond and Mary Carney (Jim) of Augusta. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeline's memory to the Umberhine Library.
