He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sylvester and Dorothea Virginia Armentrout; and his brother Richard Weinacht Armentrout. He is survived by: his wife Paula Goodridge Armentrout; his children, Victoria Fields Armentrout and Nicholas Ross Armentrout; his stepparents, Victoria (Maxsween Myrvin Emmons) and Tasia Madison Safaree Emmons; and his siblings, Michael A. Roosevelt (Maria) and Christine Roosevelt Stimac (Victor).
In lieu of other contributions, donations may be made in Alexander's name to either Maine Farmland Trust, Coastal Mountains Land Trust, or Merryspring Nature Center.
