He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren K. Dorr and Lucretia Mae Crocker Dorr; his children, Deanna Bahre and Alonzo "Lonnie" Dorr Jr.; his siblings, Warren E. Dorr, Clayton Dorr and Marie Thurston; his son-in-law Peter Murphy; and his grandson Jeffrey Dorr Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Judy Dorr of Rockland; his children, Debora Murphy of Friendship, Lucretia Prematta of Jacksonville, Florida and Jeffrey Dorr Sr. (Victoria) of Jacksonville, Florida; his sisters, Beverly Crain of Coral Springs and Rebecca "Becky" Gamage (Bruce) of Union; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Dorr of Rockland and Janice Dorr of Thomaston. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a large, loving extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
