It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cedric Wiley Long (Rockland, Maine), who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Cedric departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cedric. Though Cedric may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Long and Rachel Hathorne Long; and his siblings, Betty Harvey and Dean Long. He is survived by: his sister Jill Perry of St. George; and his children, Gary Long (Debra) of North Carolina, Diane Miller of Camden, Cedric Long Jr. of Bangor, Darrell Long (Jan Fish) of Rockport and Steven Long (Bernadette Barrows) of Camden. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; as well and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
