Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elwood leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle B. Waters and Olga Waters (Monson). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tyson; his sons, Eric (Clair) of Spruce Head, Paul (Doreen) of Lakewood, CO and Jeff Derrick (Nora) of Deale, MD; and his sister Barbara Snyder of New Berlin, WI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Orthodox Presbyterian Church (188 Rockland St, Rockport, ME 04856). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
