He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Craig and Stella Rhyne Miller; his wife Gladys; and his siblings, Herbert C. Miller and Katherine Arthur.
He is survived by : his children, William Beatty Miller-Zurell (Mary Beth Miller) and Elizabeth A. Miller of Saluda, SC; and his grandchildren, Shannon Rose Tallent (Cory) of Lexington, SC, D. Evan Johnson (McKenzie) of Lexington, SC and Gabriel D. Miller (Tabitha) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, 200 Main Street, Thomaston, ME 04861.
