Robert Flanders Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Flanders (Rockland, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Flanders to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Flanders and Marion Adelaide Tripp Flanders; his former wife Gloria Kavanaugh; his wife Charlotte Roden; his siblings, Walter Flanders, Albert Flanders, Helen Reed and Joyce Fogg; and his nephew Maynard Fogg.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Flanders (Jeanne) of Washington, Laura Flanders (Paul Flaherty) of Union and Jason Flanders (Renee) of Union; his grandchildren, Morgan Flanders of Union and Andrew Flanders of Union; his sister Barbara Fowles of Rockland; and his sibling's children, Marquita Chambers, Stewart and Steven Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Achorn Cemetery.
