She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maxwell and Flora Wallace Maxwell; and her siblings, Charles Maxwell, Arthur Carter and Edith Bennett.
She is survived by: her sons, David Burton of Spruce Head and Dana Burton (Kenneth Thompson) of Rockport; her sister-in-law Violet Karl of Rockland; and her close friends, Janet and Phil Lambert of Marlboro, MA..
