It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wayne Hilt (Rockland, Maine), who passed away at the age of 81, on October 9, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Armstrong and Valmore Hilt; his sister Valerie Harjula; and his grandson Cody James Flaherty. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hilt of Saint George; his daughters, Michelle Colson (Mark, Sr.) of Cushing, Teresa Hilt (William Chabot) of Saint George and Sally Gaffey (Jim) of Saint George; his adoptive sons, Phillip Kyser and Vincent Hilt; his grandchildren, Stacy, Breanna, Mark, Jr., Chase, Nicole, Jayden and Marinthia; and his great grandchildren, Daxton, Mark, III and Seth.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841). A reception will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
