He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Dayon and Emelia Dayon (Richard); and his siblings, Robert, Hector Dayon, Dorothy Garrett, Shirley Dunn and Vernice Collette.
He is survived by: his significant other Gloria of Rumford; his children, David (Stacey) of Manchester, NH, Thomas (Melinda) of Petal, Mississippi, Linda Thornton (Joseph) of Rumford and Kelly Cronkhite (Neil) of Hooksett, NH; his grandchildren, Jami, Jordan, Josh, Jake, Chelsea of Alyssa, JT, Shelby, Colby, Ryan and Andrea; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Corbin, Everett, Reid, Cole, Cullen, Delaney and Lakely; and his pet Jaxon.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parish of the Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church (126 Maine Ave, Rumford, ME 04276).
