He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Theodore Surette and Edna Surette (Doucette); his daughters, Emily Surette of South Portland and Marissa Cothron (David) of Rumford; his siblings, Michael (Sandy) of Mexico, Gary of Brewer, Teddy of Dixfield, Edward (Betty), Deborah Hamlin (Mark) of Peru, Ida O'Donnell (Dana) of Portland and Annette Koons (Gary) of Sedgewick; his grandchildren, Zoey Cothron and Davian Jones; and his sister Joanne Cormier.
