He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverley Ellsworth and James Ellsworth. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Ellsworth; his daughters, Naomi Ellsworth (Neal Harrison-Billiat) and Sadie Ellsworth (Tanner Grant); his granddaughter Alaida Grant; his mother-in-law Denise Swan; his siblings, Susan Ellsworth, Wanda Morrow (Philip Morrow), Brian Ellsworth (Marianne Bedard) and Vickie Morton (Eric Morton); his brothers-in-law, Brent Swan (Barbara Swan) and Ross Swan (Becky Swan); and his nieces and nephews, Monica Bean, Chad Bean, Joel Hemingway, Steven Ellsworth, Dwayne Ellsworth, Quinton Bedard, Kahlan Bedard, Andrew Morton (Katie Morton), Corey Swan (Taylor Swan) and Ashley Swan.
