It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Thurston (Rumford, Maine), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester R. Thurston and Eva Claire Thurston (Snell); and his brother Lester Thurston, Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Debra Hodsdon (Keith) of Norway, ME, William of Milford, MA and Diane Mahan (Timothy) of Groton, MA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Those who desire may honor Bill's memory via a donation to either the First Congregational Church of Andover UCC, 23 Elm Street, Andover, ME 04216, or to the Andover Educational Fund, P.O. Box 32, Andover, ME 04216.
