Though Alice Burke may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alice Burke touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her brother Sam; and her husband Waldo "Bud" Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Mark Brooks (Catherine WoodBrooks), Carol Brooks Ball (John Hart) and Jane Maynard (Tom); her grandchildren, Lynnsay Applbaum (David), Brendan Ball and Caroline Ball (Matthew Donaghey); and her sister-in-law Joan Cummings. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
