It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmella Ann Tarte of Saco, Maine, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Garland and Concetta Garland (Paziole); her daughter Jamie Jackson; her grandson Jared Eskedahl; and her siblings, Ralph Garland, Salvatore Garland, Marguerite Paioni and Marianne Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband James "Red" Tarte; her daughter Lesley McGrath (Paul); her son-in-law Michael Jackson (Fran); her grandchildren, Jenna (Brian), Evan (Tom), Luke (Mallory), Micah (Jeff), Jillian (Eric), Sam (Laura) and Emma; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Brendan, Olivia, Rocco, Julia, Owen, Kyle, Elijah, Matilda, Juniper and Jamie; and her brother James Garland (Ellen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
