Carolyn McConnell Obituary
We announce the death of Carolyn McConnell of Saco, Maine, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Waterhouse Boothby of York, Maine. and Edna Mae Philbrick of York, Maine.; her husband Dr. David M. McConnell; her siblings, Herbert Boothby (Betty) and Shirley LeBarge (George); and her nephew Jason LeBarge.
She is survived by: her children, James E. McConnell (Sheilah), First Sergeant, Brian S. McConnell (Tracy) of East Granby, CT and Sharon L. McConnell-Dickerson (David) of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Keith J. McConnell of Simsbury, CT, Maeve McConnell of East Granby, CT and Gavin McConnell (Carly) of Southwick, MA; her great grandchild Marshall McConnell of Southwick, MA; and her nieces, Deborah Soule (Thomas), Mary Kittrick (Leo), Susan Gorman (Harold), Georgeann Tudisco (Daryl) and Jennifer LeBarge Seabrooke. She is also survived by parents, siblings, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043).
