We announce the death of Eleanor L. Durant in Saco, Maine, born in South Paris, Maine, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 85. Eleanor will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Irene Marston; her brothers, Lawrence Doucette and Kenneth Kennedy; her former husband Dexter Durant; her stepson David; and her children, Connie Ryan and Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Durant-Vining of Weld, June Maul of Wilton and Dennis Durant (Beth) of South Paris; her sister Sandra Reed of Alfred; and her sister-in-law Sally Welch of Bryant Pond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
