Helena Anne Gannon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helena Anne Gannon of Saco, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosario Cardin and Mary Jane "Rose" Cardin (Bruneau); her daughter Anne; her brother Robert Cardin; and her brother-in-law Robert Cormier.

She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Eon (William) and David Gannon (Julie); her grandchildren, Marysa Santos (Eon), Hannah Eon, Kerry Townsend (Eon), Alexander Gannon and Jacqueline Murphy (Gannon); her great grandchildren, Marianna, Anthony Santos, Natalie and Colson Townsend; and her siblings, Marilyn Cormier, Roland Cardin (Patricia) and Rosemary Brener (Howard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cote Funeral Home (87 James St, Saco, ME 04072). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (271 Main St, Saco, ME 04072).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Helena's memory to Tri-City Community Chorus (https://tricitycommunitychorus.com.) or to The Alzheimer's Association of Maine (https://www.alz.org.).
