We announce the death of James J. Tarte of Saco, Maine, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gregory Tarte and Mary Ellen Tarte (Cavanaugh); his wife Carmella Tarte (Garland); his daughter Jamie Jackson; and his siblings, Albert Tarte (Hisako), Richard Tarte and Ilene Perdue (Arthur).
He is survived by: his daughter Lesley McGrath (Paul); and his son-in-law Michael Jackson.
