He was predeceased by: his parents, Margorie Wunderlich (Callaham) and Charles Van Wunderlich; his stepmother Kathleen Wunderlich; and his siblings, Charles Van Wunderlich Jr. and Sharon Wunderlich Busbee.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Montesano; his children, Jared Alan Wunderlich (Amanda), Thomas John Charles Wunderlich and Theresa Caroline Rose Wunderlich; his grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ethan Calvin, David Alan, Liya Joy and Jack Owen; and his siblings, Stephen Lee Wunderlich (Linda) of Cullman Alabama, Richard Earl Wunderlich (Mary), Rebecca Sue Wunderlich Pollard of Cullman Alabama, Martha Heard Harris of Florence Alabama, Vanda Jean Wunderlich Bourgeious of Fort Worth Texas, Robert Wunderlich (Catherine) of Dallas Texas and Harold Lee Wunderlich (Tammy) of Grandville Texas.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (178 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005).
