He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Merry, Sr. and Gertrude Lydia Merry (Fitzgerald); his siblings, Virginia Toppi Marriner of Portland and David Merry of Marlboro, Connecticut.; his wife Mary Joan Dinolfo Merry; and his daughter-in-law Regina of Arundel Maine.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Bergere of Doylestown; his daughter Nancy Charpentier of Portland; his grandson Peter (Jillian Connelly) of Nashua; his son John Merry III; his daughter-in-law Jennifer of Kennebunkport; his grandson John IV (Caitlyn); his great grandchildren, Finn, Emilia of Severna Park and Charles (Megan Cadigan) of Portland, Maine; his children, Joseph Merry and Ann Boardman; and his son-in-law John of Kittery Point, Maine..
