With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John G. Ladakakos of Saco, Maine, born in Biddeford, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, George John and Virginia Ladakakos (Kelliher); and his siblings, Arthur and Helen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Vassie Fowler (Jack), Stacy Ladakakos (Pam Kearns) and George Ladakakos; his stepson Richard Cluff (Johanna); his siblings, Cynthia Carr (Thomas) and Kirk Ladakakos; his brother-in-law Kirk Smith; his mother-in-law Gloria Lorette (Francis); his grandchildren, John, Tiffany, Tyler (Ladakakos), Andrea, Nicholas (Carpenter) and Taylor (Cluff); and his caregivers, Paula, Dr. Christopher Link, Dr. Megan Abbott and Dr. Paul Parker. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
