We announce the death of John Tyler Kidder III of Saco, Maine, born in Rangeley, Maine, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 82. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kidder and John Kidder Jr.; and his grandfather Jack. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Steven Kidder (Joyce Gauthier), Scott Kidder (Erica) and Amy Gray (Will); his grandchildren, Corey, Carly, Jack, Sam, Cora and Megan; Annie and Teddy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 25 Long Wharf, Portland, ME 04101.
