The memory of Karen Lynn Zamjohn of Saco, Maine, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 64, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Brown and Stanley Brown. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Samantha Koehler of Saco, ME and Matthew Koehler; her daughter-in-law Patricia Robinson of Boston, MA; her daughter Alyssa Zamjohn of Arlington, VA; her granddaughter Alexa Knox of Saco, ME; her brother Brad Brown; and her sister-in-law Kim of Farmingdale, ME. She is also survived by many nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Southern Maine Agency on Aging at the Sam L. Cohen Center https://www.smaaa.org or Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org to support awareness, research toward a cure, and assistance for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's.
