With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lionel A. Bouffard of Saco, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bouffard and Fabiola Bouffard (Beaudet); his former wife Lorraine Bouffard (Poirier); his son Roger Bouffard; and his siblings, Edmond, Andrew, Renald Jean "Joe" Bouffard, Blanche Chabot and Marie Ange Perreault.
He is survived by: his fiancé Patrice Gilbert of Saco; his children, Michael Bouffard (Melanie) of Sebago, Amy Calo (Thomas) of Biddeford and Jenny Straetz of Saco; and his partner's children, Leslie Yerxa of Tennessee and Matthew Randall (Anne) of Gorham. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hope Memorial Chapel (480 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (178 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (120 West St, Biddeford, ME 04005).
