He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Dunitz and Rose Gordon Dunitz. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Dunitz; his sons, Jeremy (Anne Dunitz), Jordan (Sydney Dunitz) and Jonathan Dunitz of South Portland, ME; his grandchildren, Madison Dunitz, Shayna Dunitz, Jackson Dunitz and Jesse Dunitz; his sister Hannah (Hadassah); his brother-in-law Sherman Stein of Davis, CA; and his friend Saco.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in recognition of Southern Maine Health Care's Patient and Family Action Committee, The Hospice of Southern Maine or Jesse and Rose Dunitz General Fund Endowment at Temple Sinai.
