Hilton, Margaret Shane and Barbara Hagar; his former wife Bambina Giacullo-Hilton (Bambi); and his children, Barbara Montgomery of Saco, Maine, Richard Hilton, Jr. of Saco, Maine, Judith Hilton of Hollis, Maine and Bruce Hilton of Limington, Maine..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eric Hilton, Sarah Anderson, David Morrill, Diana Barker, Andrea Norton, Lissa Hilton Harrigan and Stephen Hilton-Joyce; and his great grandchildren, Daniel Marston, Isabella Gilpatrick, Chloe Barker, Lydia Norton and Harmony Hilton.
He received awards in Washington, D.C. twice, both recognizing his contributions to seniors and the Medicare program.
