It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Charlton Avery of Saco, Maine, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlton Luther and Elsie Clara Avery (Gustafson); his son Eric S. Avery; and his daughter-in-law Tina M. Avery. He is survived by: his children, Kent Avery (Demetra Giatas) of Portland, Reed Avery of Morgantown and Lori DeAngelis (Richard) of Lakeland; and his grandchildren, Truman, Eleanor, Linus, Adelaide, Clementine Avery, Henry and Ethan DeAngelis.
