Robert D. Pate Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert D. Pate of Saco, Maine, who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Irving and Gladys Ruth Record Pate; and his siblings, Kenneth and Priscilla Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Clara Litwinowich Pate of Saco; his sons, Dr. David Pate (Susan) of Fairport, NY, James T. Pate (Lisa) of Saco and Stephen D. Pate; his grandchildren, Lainey Kempton (Nick), Benjamin, Jonathan (Molly), Katherine and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Natalie, William and Eleanor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home - Saco (365 Main St, Saco, ME 04072). A masonic service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Saco Lodge # 9 (252 Main St, Saco, ME 04072). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Baptist Church (318 Main St, Saco, ME 04072).
