Francis Chalmers Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Francis Chalmers (Sanford, Maine) is shared. Francis, born on January 13, 1932, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James K. Chalmers and Clara I. Chalmers (Searles); his children, James Chalmers (Diane), Kerry Chalmers (Laurie) and Kenneth; and his siblings, Kenneth, Urline, Margaret, James and Carol Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Chalmers (Regan); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Jake), Meghan (Mike), Luke (Tatiane) and Jackie; and his great grandchildren, Polly, Coby, Daisy, Cyris, Leon and Diana. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sanford First Baptist Church (905 Main St, Sanford, ME 04073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
