James C. Folsom Obituary

The memory of James C. Folsom of Sanford, Maine, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 67, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Folsom and Carolyn Folsom. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Folsom; his children, Jamie Lovejoy (Adam) and Scott Folsom (Jessica); his brothers, Edmund Folsom (Lauren) and Douglass Folsom (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Alivia, Ava Lovejoy, Erana, Kathryn and Rowen Folsom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Black Heald and Walker Funeral Home (580 Main St, Springvale, ME 04083). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Black-Heald & Walker Funeral Home (580 Main St, Springvale, ME 04083).
