He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bernier and Arline Bernier (Bourque); and his wife Dorothy Bernier. He is survived by: his significant other Rachel Caron of Sanford; his daughters, Christine Bernier (Robert Woods) of Limington and Lisa Bernier of Sanford; his granddaughters, Kimberly Palmer of Sanford and Stephanie Glidden (Ryan) of Sanford; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ivy, Zoë, Austin, Leah and Wyatt.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (66 North Ave, Sanford, ME 04073). A burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
