Joseph J. Levesque Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Levesque of Sanford, Maine, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Levesque and Jane Levesque (Fournier); and his siblings, Romeo (Laurette Levesque), Allyre Levesque, Oneil (Lois Levesque), Gilbert (Juliette Levesque), Aline Mayo and Joan Levesque.
He is survived by: his siblings, Emile Levesque (Alice) of East Hampton, Connecticut, Patricia Levesque Labbe (Geral) of Bristol, Connecticut and Claude Levesque of Springvale; and his sister-in-law Madeline Levesque of Sanford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black, Heald & Walker Funeral Home (580 Main St, Springvale, ME 04083). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish (66 North Ave, Sanford, ME 04073).
