With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Levesque of Sanford, Maine, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Levesque and Jane Levesque (Fournier); and his siblings, Romeo (Laurette Levesque), Allyre Levesque (Lawrence Levesque), Oneil (Lois Levesque), Gilbert (Juliette Levesque) and Aline Mayo (Joan Levesque).
He is survived by: his siblings, Emile Levesque (Alice) of East Hampton, Connecticut, Patricia Levesque Labbe (Geral) of Bristol, Connecticut and Claude Levesque of Springvale; and his sisters-in-law, Madeline Levesque of Sanford and Iva Levesque. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
