She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Pontbriand and Carloine Pontbriand (Bevelaqua); her son Romeo Thompson; her brothers, Norman Pontbriand, Richard Pontbriand and Mark Pontbriand; her sister-in-law Sandra Pontbriand; her brother Ernest Pontbriand; and her brother-in-law Robert Wasson.

She is survived by: her children, Nelson Thompson and Cindylou Ouellette; her siblings, Melvin Pontbriand, Carole George (Max), Jane Archambault (Kenneth), Jeannette Adams (Kenneth) and Brenda Wasson; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Malia and Leilani. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews grandchildren.
