He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Emmons and Maxine Emmons (Dunn); his siblings, Beverly Meserve, Shirley Garrigan and Richard Emmons; and his great grandchild Jordan Lambert.

He is survived by: his wife June Meserve Emmons; his children, Gail Lambert (Dennis Jordan), Bonnie Thibault (Tom), Cathy Pingree (Mike Smith), Melody Stacey (Stephan) and Greg Emmons; and his grandchildren, Don, Joyce, Thomas, Hilary, Heath, Lindsey, Nick, Aaron and Sarah. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
