It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy F. Scala in Scarborough, Maine, who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. F. and Dorothy Connolly (Finney); her husband Peter F. Scala of Joseph's Catholic Church; and her sister Virginia "Ginny" Wentworth. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Scala Cote, Michael F. (Tracey Scala) and John (Julie Scala); her grandchildren, Joseph (Callie Cote), Meaghan Cote (Joshua Melvin), Michael Anthony Scala, Samuel and Paige Scala; her great grandchildren, Cooper and Margaux Cote; and her sisters, Beverly Nappi and Elizabeth "Betty" Audette.
