Joan B. Munroe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan B. Munroe in Scarborough, Maine, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Munroe and Gertrude Munroe (Wallace); her husband Robert A. Munroe; her sons, Timothy Patrick and William S. Munroe; her grandson William "Billy" Munroe; her siblings, Duke Knight, Donald Wallace and Mary Martin Foss; her daughter-in-law Eleita Munroe; and her close friends, Alice Ricci and Pam Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Adriance, Rose Roberts, Robert Munroe II, Charles and John Munroe; and her sister Charlene Tibbetts. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home (172 State St, Portland, ME 04101).
