He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin W. and Mary C. O'Brien (King); and his siblings, Joan McGovern (John) and Emmett O'Brien (Buddy). He is survived by : his wife Barbara O'Brien (Colley); his children, Timothy J. O'Brien (Kathy) of Scarborough, Jeanine M. O'Brien (Tim Barthelman) of Freeport and James M. O'Brien (Lisa) of Scarborough; his grandchildren, Caroline E. O'Brien, Peter M. O'Brien, Connor J. O'Brien and Liam G. O'Brien; and his sisters-in-law, Cindy Rendall (Stephen) and Michaelene O'Brien. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
