Lawrence William Chapman Obituary
We announce the death of Lawrence William Chapman of Scarborough, Maine, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Chapman and Helen Chapman (Marsh); his brother Parker Chapman of Gardner, MA; and his sister-in-law Anne Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Francina M. Chapman; his daughter Amy Turra (Bruno) of Beverly, MA; his stepdaughter Angela Fauth (Brian) of South Portland, ME; his brother Hugh "Mickey" Chapman of Gardner, MA; his granddaughters, Thileigh Kasprzyk of South Portland, ME and Aleigh Fauth of South Portland, ME; and his siblings-in-law, John Awdycki (Ann) of Gardner, MA and Janit DeRice of Scarborough, ME. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rock Church (66 Gorham Rd, Scarborough, ME 04074).
