She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald; and her parents, Joe Newcomb and Norma Newcomb. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and many extended family.

Attendes are welcome to bring school supplies to donate to the Scarborough High School. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to honor Lisa's memory by performing an act of kindness in the coming week.
