He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Rioux of Fall River, Massachusetts.; and his brother Paul Rioux. He is survived by: his father Donald Rioux; his children, Luke (Cary), Mikaela, Margaux and Thomas; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Axel; his siblings, Dr. David Rioux (Cathy) and Barbara Vye (David); and his wife Susan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 20 Gilsland Farm Rd, Falmouth, ME 04105.
In lieu of flowers, scholarship donations may be made to the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in Burlington in his memory at : Donation-University of Vermont GiveCampus.
